Gravel Road Travellers Beware!

Caution to you all that travel gravel road to work! I mean, I almost lost my life twice today on the way to town. Why you ask?

After a recent rain last night, I set off on the way to work this morning, I was forced to put the passenger side tires into the ditch..not once but twice. In order to adhere to the bus schedule and day care schedule I travel a lot of gravel to get into town on time. We set out and about 1/2 mile away we come upon a white pick me up chevy, (come to think of it they both were white trucks); it was swurving 3/4 of the way across the road in our direction (George Jones Style). Lone and behold it was an elderly farmer too busy looking out the passenger side window checking the crops after the recent rain. All I kept thinking was,"dude it rained, the crops aren't ready.., stay home and sleep in!"

The authorities only are about cell phones and eating while driving...I think they should be watching those farmers, farming while driving!

Calvin, this BLOG goes out to you...lord knows you have a white truck. Many a time I've asked to drive so you could "farm". Hugs!
