Holidays at its best!

Holidays are great, aren't they? Even a bad one is better than work. For this particular vacay...it was truly AWESOME!

We went to Rocky Mountain House with friends and their kids. (Which are truly awesome kids). Nothing is worse than heading out for a week and having to deal with kids that are unruly. But Cash and Payton, kisses to you both! Auntie just loves you. Great kids and better yet great parents!

Although the weather was hit and miss....makes for great quading, we had a blast. All the kids played so well together. Cash I think has a crush on Cameron. Uncle Cal will be watching you. The kids also went to bed easily and the mommies and daddies stayed up to play!

Uncle Marshal is quite the entertainer, as long as Eric Church was playing. He did his part consuming 118 bud lights. Auntie Jen polished off her wine. Uncle Cal with his spicy and Auntie Shawna stayed on her diet. Hell yah...I did...I drank my Molson 67 Sublimes and had my 69 calorie vodkas at night.

The trails were great, many many picnics were had. Lots of firewood was collected. A couple loads of laundry were washed. Yes the campground had laundry facilities. Thank goodness because Cash had gone through all his pants by day 2. Darn mud puddles!

The last quading day we did have some troubles. Marshal almost rolled their Rhino, but all turned out well and my Rhino overheated on the way home. We stopped off at a creek at the end of the day and we let the kids play and get wet and I decided to have a budlight lime...which knocked me on my ass. Phew. A great day indeed.

The ladies were allowed to go shopping in town with mastercard in hand....boy that Jen can shop! I thought I was bad. We recommend the Co-op in Rocky. It has everything! (soon to come...a booze store...right Jen?) lol.

I am back at work now. Back to the grind as they say. BUT....I'm 15.6 pounds lighter. Not kidding. It is possible to have fun and stay on a diet.
